Copy installation code

In your Boei dashboard, open your widget and click the Install tab. Select Other / Script and copy the installation code.

Log in to Drupal

Open your Drupal admin panel and navigate to Configuration → Development → Asset Injector (if you have the Asset Injector module). Alternatively, you can edit your theme's template directly.

Add the script

Option A — Asset Injector module: Click Add JS Injector, give it a label like "Boei Chatbot", paste the script code, and set it to appear on all pages.

Option B — Theme template: Open your active theme's html.html.twig file (usually in themes/your_theme/templates/). Paste the Boei script code just before the closing </body> tag.

Clear cache

Go to Configuration → Performance and click Clear all caches. Visit your site to confirm the chatbot appears.

You can configure your chat widget in 5 minutes, add a JS script to your "header" in your theme and wooollaaa done. Nothing hard. We have been using Boei mainly for small corporate websites. It really solves our need to have a small chat widget which does not add up 150Kb and XXXXX JS scripts. It's really lightweight and it does not affect your website speed.

I have a quick chat on each page, so it simplifies the way my clients can get in touch with me. It was very easy to implement and they continue to improve this software and are open to feedback. An easy way to add a communication widget to the website. I like best that it supports Messenger and Whatsaap, phone, email and live chat and it is easy to translate for multilingual pages. I can't think about real drowbacks. The [SENSITIVE CONTENT] reply all the support questions quickly and effectively, they are open to feedback. I had no issues at all with this software. Maybe if they could add some protection against spammers if you use the contact form and in some future add a chatbot, that would be fantastic.

How is this possible? I have been searching for a service like boei, without success for over a year. What magic is this? Isn't set up supposed to be supremely complicated, involving a coding degree, extensive technical knowledge and possibly a miracle? Boei just works.
