What Is an m.me Link?

An m.me link is a short URL provided by Facebook that opens a conversation in Facebook Messenger. The format is https://m.me/username, where the username is your personal Facebook username or your Facebook Page name. When someone clicks the link, it opens Messenger directly — either in the app on mobile or in a browser window on desktop.

How to Create a Messenger Link

Messenger Link Not Working?

• Page messaging disabled — your Facebook Page must have the messaging feature turned on. Go to Page Settings → Messaging to enable it.
• Personal profile restrictions — m.me links for personal profiles may not work if your privacy settings restrict who can message you.
• Messenger not available — in some regions, Messenger features may be limited. The link will try to open messenger.com in a browser as a fallback.
