Telegram Channel

Add Telegram to your widget so visitors can message you through this secure messaging app.

How to get there: Go to Setup → Widget in the top menu → click your widget → click Add Channel and select Telegram.

Setup

  1. Open your widget editor
  2. Click Add Channel
  3. Select Telegram
  4. Enter your Telegram username (without @)
  5. Save

Options

Pre-filled Message

Set a default message that appears when Telegram opens. Customers can edit before sending.

Display as QR Code

Show a scannable QR code instead of a direct link - great for desktop visitors.

Open in New Window

Opens Telegram in a new browser tab.

Business Hours

  • Hide when out of office - Only show during business hours
  • Show only when out of office - Use as alternative contact method

Tracking

  • Custom conversion event - Track clicks in analytics
  • Redirect after contact - Send to thank you page

Setup Flow Notes

The Telegram setup deep-link is cleaned up automatically after use, so you won't accidentally re-open an old setup flow. State also persists across the setup steps, so you can safely refresh the page mid-flow without losing progress.
