Skype Channel

Add Skype to your widget so visitors can call or message you through Microsoft's communication platform.

How to get there: Go to Setup → Widget in the top menu → click your widget → click Add Channel and select Skype.

Channel Types

Boei offers two Skype options:

Skype Profile

Links to your Skype profile.

Skype Chat

Opens a direct chat or call.

Setup

  1. Open your widget editor
  2. Click Add Channel
  3. Select Skype or Skype Chat
  4. Enter your Skype username
  5. Save

Options

Display as QR Code

Show a scannable QR code linking to your Skype profile.

Open in New Window

Opens Skype in a new browser tab.

Business Hours

  • Hide when out of office - Only show during business hours
  • Show only when out of office - Use as alternative contact

Tracking

  • Custom conversion event - Track clicks in analytics
  • Redirect after contact - Send to thank you page
