Companies bring people, deals, notes, and conversations from the same customer together in one place.
How to get there: Go to Contacts in the top menu, then choose Companies.
Boei can create a company automatically from a business email address. For example, [email protected] can create a company called Salonhub. Personal and temporary email providers are skipped.
You can also add a company yourself from the Companies page.
Open a company to see:
You can edit the company name and details from the company page. Information found through enrichment can always be corrected.
A linked company and its people share one relationship status: Contact, Lead, Customer, or Inactive.
Changing the status on the company changes every linked person. Changing the status on one linked person also changes the company and the other linked people. This keeps the customer relationship consistent across Boei.
Use Add person to create a new person linked to the company. Use Create deal to start a deal for one of the linked people.
Use the menu on the company page and choose Merge company. Search for the company you want to keep. Boei moves the people, deals, domains, notes, and useful company details to that record.
Merging cannot be undone. Renaming a company never merges it automatically.
Deleting a company removes the company record, notes, enrichment data, and domain mappings. Its people and deals are kept, but they are no longer linked to a company.
