Training credits (page credits) determine how much content your chatbot can learn from. Every training source, whether it's a website page, file, text snippet, Q&A item, product, or ticket, uses page credits based on its content size.
How to get there: The credit usage bar appears at the top of any training tab. Click your profile menu in the top-right → Account & Billing to see your plan's total credit allowance.
Every 5,000 characters of cleaned content counts as 1 page credit (minimum 1 credit per source). Examples:
Each trained item shows its credit cost in the training list so you can see exactly what's using your quota.
| Plan | Page Credits | Crawl Discovery Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Free / Trial | 100 | 500 |
| Lite | 100 | 500 |
| Starter | 1,000 | 5,000 |
| Growth | 3,500 | 5,000 |
| Business | 10,000 | 5,000 |
| Scale | 15,000 | 5,000 |
When you reach your page credit limit:
| Action | Credits freed? |
|---|---|
| Untrain a page/file/snippet | Yes, immediately |
| Delete a page/file/snippet | Yes, immediately |
| Retrain a page | No (replaces old content, recalculates cost) |
Page credits and AI reply credits (chatbot credits) are two separate systems:
Adding or removing training pages does not affect your AI reply credits, and vice versa. For AI reply credits, see Chatbot credits.
