QR Codes

Display channels as QR codes for desktop visitors to scan with their phones.

How to get there: Go to Setup → Widget in the top menu → click your widget → click on a channel → enable the QR Code option.

Why Use QR Codes?

When customers browse on desktop, scanning a QR code lets them:

  • Contact you directly from their phone
  • Use mobile-only apps (like WhatsApp) without web login
  • Quickly save contact information

How It Works

  1. Customer clicks the channel on desktop
  2. Boei displays a QR code
  3. Customer scans with their phone
  4. The channel opens on their mobile device

Setting Up QR Codes

  1. Open the channel you want as a QR code
  2. Enable Display as QR code

Pro Tip

Create the same channel twice for different devices:

  • Desktop version - Display as QR code
  • Mobile version - Normal click-to-open

Use mobile/desktop settings to show each on the right device.
