Whitelabel the Admin Panel

Use your own domain for the Boei admin panel, removing Boei branding completely. Perfect for agencies and resellers who want to offer Boei under their own brand.

How to get there: Go to your profile icon (top right) → Settings → contact support to set up your custom domain.

What is Whitelabel?

A whitelabel setup lets you:

  • Host the admin panel on your domain (e.g., app.youragency.com)
  • Remove all Boei branding
  • Add your own logo and branding
  • Provide a branded experience for your clients

Requirements

  • Paid Boei plan with whitelabel feature
  • Access to your domain's DNS settings
  • Custom domain for the admin panel

Setting Up Your Whitelabel Domain

Step 1: Choose Your Domain

Decide on a subdomain for the admin panel:

  • app.yourdomain.com
  • dashboard.yourdomain.com
  • admin.yourdomain.com

Step 2: Configure DNS

Add a CNAME record in your DNS settings:

Type Name Target
CNAME app whitelabel.boei.help

DNS changes may take up to 24 hours to propagate.

Step 3: Enable in Boei

  1. Go to SettingsWhitelabel
  2. Enter your custom domain
  3. Verify the DNS configuration
  4. Save settings

Step 4: Add Your Branding

  1. Upload your logo
  2. Set your brand colors
  3. Customize email templates (if available)

What Gets Whitelabeled

  • Admin panel URL
  • Login page
  • Dashboard interface
  • Email notifications (from address)
  • Widget installation instructions

What Remains

  • Widget code still loads from Boei CDN (for performance)
  • API endpoints remain Boei-hosted

Using with Client Workspaces

Whitelabel works great with client workspaces:

  1. Set up your whitelabel domain
  2. Create client workspaces
  3. Clients see your branded admin panel
  4. You manage everything from your dashboard

Troubleshooting

Domain Not Working

  • Verify DNS records are correct
  • Wait 24 hours for DNS propagation
  • Check for typos in the CNAME target

SSL Certificate Issues

SSL certificates are automatically provisioned. If you see certificate errors:

  • Ensure DNS is correctly configured
  • Wait a few minutes for certificate generation
  • Contact support if issues persist
